General Information:
Auditions are held at TheatreFor (unless otherwise noted): located in the Sunset Square Shopping Center, at the corner of Sunset Point and Highland Ave., 1863 N Highland Ave, Clearwater, FL 33755
Unless specified, auditions will be cold readings from the script, often with multiple auditioners being evaluated together in combined readings. Any given audition may be for a single show or may be conducted by directors of multiple shows.
At each director’s discretion, video auditions and requests for dates other than the published ones may be arranged. Email [email protected] with your request. Audition reservations, headshots, and resumes are suggested but not required.

Thursday December 12 at 7 PM and Saturday December 14 at 3 PM
AUDITIONS: A Lighter Shade of Noir, is an evening of 8 short plays celebrating the noir genre of theatre, some dark, some light, with characters ranging from classic hard bitten detectives and femme fatales, to some of your favorite fairy tale characters in a darkly comic setting, to a few other surprise guests, these stylish pieces are sure to entertain.
Auditions will be held Thursday December 12 at 7 PM and Saturday December 14 at 3 PM at TheatreFor in Clearwater. Video auditions and requests for other dates should be emailed to [email protected]
Production dates are March 6th through the 23rd
Performances: 8PM Thursdays and Fridays & 3PM Saturdays and Sundays
Rehearsals will begin with a table read on Sunday, December 22nd and scheduled from that point

Sunday January 5 and Monday January 6 at 6PM
AUDITIONS: The Merry Wives of Windsor – Imagine if John Cleese, William Shakespeare and Norman Lear had collaborated on a play and released it in 1980 as a sitcom. You would get TheatreFor’s The Merry Wives of Windsor, a new adaptation by Dee O’Brien of Shakespeare’s classic farce.
Five women and six men play all the roles and off each other as they lead Sir John Falstaff, themselves and the audience on a wild ride around the streets of Windsor.
Auditions consisting of cold readings from the script for all roles will be held at 6PM on Sunday January 5th and Monday January 6th
